On the weekend of Jan 4th till Jan 7th, Onkaparinga race strongly to bring home 27 gold, 43 silver and 27 bronze medals. Club Captains received the highest point score trophy on behalf of the 29 swimmers who were part of the team that contributed to the many successful performance outcomes over the 4 days of competition. 

Annabelle Starr won the female 16-18 year highest performing swimmer, 

Head coach Pat wheeler prepared swimmers daily and was supported by Joanne Weir, Dianne Humphries and Lisa Macdonald making sure all swimmers made events and swam down and prepared for their next race.

Parents contributed with officiating duties and the preparing of necessary dietary requirements to keep the swimmers nutritionally happy and ready for competition.

The weekend was a great success and a building opportunity for racing, developing friendships and some socialising before the event started and after the conclusion of the championships.

Senior swimmers were excited to support the whistle blowers development program for officiating during the Superfish events.
